Our first foray into the women’s elite peloton came with Wiggle-Honda in 2013. So when we decided to return in 2020, it had to be with another squad who were motivated by a desire to empower women – on and off the bike. In Sydney Uni – Staminade, we found just that.

Predominatly competing in Australia’s National Road Series, many of the riders juggle university or school studies with bike racing. And they hope their achievements – both academic and sporting – will provide an inspiration to many more women.
The current squad is full of exciting characters – from Zwift Academy finalist Imogen Alton and former World Tour rider Jess Pratt to a raft of young talents led by newly-crowned Aussie under-23 national champion Alyssa Polites.
There are no barriers these women cannot overcome, no limits to their ambitions. And we’re proud to support them as they aim to hit new heights in 2022, once more making the most of opportunities at home and abroad to inspire and empower.
